I am running for Idaho House Seat 1A because North Idaho deserves a proven conservative who will fight for our values. I am a lifelong Republican, who will faithfully uphold the Republican platform while protecting the freedoms, constitutional rights, and conservative principles that make Idaho the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

This election is about the future of North Idaho. Every two years, voters have the opportunity to choose whether they want representatives who will stand firm on conservative principles, or leaders who desire to undermine Idaho’s position as one of the last bastions of conservative values in America.

My opponent’s vision for District 1A is different than mine. I believe North Idaho deserves a representative who will unapologetically defend our constitutional rights, secure our elections, protect the unborn, support law enforcement, defend the Second Amendment, oppose government overreach, and fight to keep Idaho one of the most conservative states in the nation.

I am not running to be another politician. I am running to be a conservative voice who answers to the people of District 1A, not to special interests or political insiders. If elected, I will stand with the citizens of North Idaho, keep my promises, and fight every day to preserve the values that have made our communities strong.

‍ ‍The top issues I plan to address are:

Tax Relief - Fiscal Responsibility - State Spending

I consider Grocery Tax repeal as a baby step, and the elimination of Property Tax as a giant leap. I do believe that a Property Tax reduction is in order, and that a complete elimination is possible in the near future.

State spending has become reckless, wasteful and disproportional. The State budget has grown by roughly 60% in the last 6 years. Moving money between categories is not a plan. Stopping the pattern of growing government should be the goal.

I am an advocate for life.

I have been involved in the pro-life movement since I was a teenager. To me, this is an issue that stands out as being of utmost importance. You have my word, that I will always be a staunch defender of life, be it standing up for the unborn, or guarding the dignity of the elderly.

There will be a ballot initiative on your November ballot. It is called the Idaho Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act, and if passed, it will change the abortion laws we have in Idaho. Even the title is misleading, as it will sound well-meaning and potentially confuse many voters. It will:

-Make abortion legal up until the day of birth

and remove parental control

This is an extreme abortion initiative, masked with the label of ‘women’s healthcare’. Don’t be fooled, this is an outright attempt to make abortion legal in Idaho again, and we must stand up against it!

‍ ‍Education - Funding - Choice

I’m a firm believer in educational choice, because it empowers parents and improves outcomes. School choice increases competition, innovation and accountability, Parental empowerment isn’t anti-public, it’s pro-child. Families with special needs often need options beyond one-size-fits-all districts.

Superintendent Debbie Critchfield has acknowledged that Idaho’s decades-old school funding formula needs modernization. I will be proactive in supporting funding formula reform to prioritize classrooms and special needs.

Illegal Immigration - Problems and Solutions

The core principles of national sovereignty demand that we control our borders to protect our citizens, economy and culture. We are seeing increased crime, human trafficking and cartel activity as we deal with the influx of illegal immigrants who have entered our country under the last two Democratic Presidents.

Legal immigration has strengthened America for generations, but illegal immigration undermines fairness for everyone who follows the rules, strains local resources, and weakens confidence in our system. Idaho deserves both a secure border and an immigration system that works.

Taxpayers help shoulder the burden for emergency medical care, law enforcement, education, detention, and other public services. Meanwhile, millions of people around the world wait patiently and legally to come into our country.

I will work for you, to keep our borders secure and enforce our laws.
